Alfie (Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/alfietjen) is a Marketing Manager and certified personal trainer whose mission is to inspire. Born with a speech impediment, he has since learned to own his voice—onstage, in the gym, and now, as a Face of Alluora 2025.
“I used to see my speech as a setback. Now, it’s part of my power.”
When Alfie discovered he was chosen for Faces of Alluora 2025, his first reaction was disbelief.
“I was in disbelief—and incredibly grateful. It felt like validation for staying true to myself. With this title, I want to normalise skincare for modern men and encourage others to care for themselves inside and out.”
His skincare journey began long before the campaign. As a personal trainer juggling indoor sessions and outdoor shoots, Alfie is often sweating and exposed to the elements. That’s why products like Dewy Moisturiser became a staple. “It saves me time, replaces multiple steps, and keeps my skin hydrated and fresh.”
Alfie’s go-to Alluora routine is fast, effective, and fits perfectly into his busy lifestyle:
His holy grail? “Dewy. It replaced three products in my night routine and still gives me the results I need.”
“I joined Mr. Nusantara 2025 because I wanted to challenge myself beyond my comfort zone and represent individuals who may not fit the typical mould. As someone with a speech impediment, I hope to inspire others to embrace their uniqueness and show that confidence, resilience, and purpose go far beyond appearances.”
During the competition, Alfie’s greatest challenge wasn’t the stage—it was losing his routine.
“My lowest point during Mr. Nusantara 2025 was missing my regular gym sessions and not being able to stick to my usual meals. I’m someone who thrives on structure, so it was tough. But I reminded myself to focus on the positives—this was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. I chose to be present, soak in the journey, and enjoy the meaningful connections and growth along the way.”
“Honestly, I’ve always been consistent with self-care, fitness, and putting myself out there despite my speech challenges. One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that confidence isn’t about perfection—it’s about progress. When you start showing up for yourself, whether it’s in skincare, training, or speaking up, you grow into someone you once only hoped to be. And that’s powerful.”
“My non-negotiable is cleansing and moisturising—day and night, no matter how busy I am. Great skin starts with consistency. Just like fitness, you won’t see results overnight, but the routine pays off over time.”
