“If you want something with your whole heart, mean it and manifest it—and the universe will help you achieve it.”
Joshua Benedict (Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/joshuabenedict007?igsh=cTEzYTFtbTJldm10 ) is not your average pageant star. He’s a multilingual Indian who speaks fluent Chinese and Malay, loves to eat, and doesn’t take himself too seriously. But beneath the jokes and good vibes is someone with a big heart, sharp wit, and an unshakable belief in putting your best self forward, inside and out. As a Face of Alluora 2025, newly crowned Mister Universe Malaysia 2025, and the winner of Mr World Malaysia 2024, Joshua embodies what it means to own your story with confidence.
“I’m the best spokesperson for Alluora, baby!” Joshua says jokingly, but behind the humour is someone who’s genuinely proud to represent a brand that values inner radiance as much as outer glow. To him, this role isn’t just about looking good; it’s about helping others feel seen, celebrated, and strong in their skin.
His skincare essentials are clear and consistent:
“Sunscreen, any day! It’s a two-in-one product that hydrates and protects without the white cast. I even wear it to sleep sometimes!” Joshua says. It’s the convenience and glow that makes it a staple in his routine.
“I’m the organiser, ma,” Joshua says with a laugh. As someone behind the scenes, stepping into the spotlight was a bold move. But he did it to prove that you can lead by example, and show others that self-expression, identity, and confidence go hand in hand.
“Getting scolded by the boss was tough,” Joshua shares. As someone who brings a lot of energy and personality to everything he does, criticism hit hard. But rather than letting it weigh him down, he used it as a wake-up call to grow, reflect, and come back stronger.
“Look at me now!” he says with a grin. Through the challenges and highs of the competition, Joshua gained more than a title; he found a deeper sense of resilience, pride, and clarity about who he is and what he stands for.
“Clean your face, moisturise your face, and protect, protect, protect with sunscreen!” Simple and effective, Joshua’s routine proves that a no-fuss approach can still deliver big results.
