Mhar (Link to his Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/engineermjc/) is an engineer based in Singapore. But there’s more to him than his day job. He’s also a fitness lover and a finalist in Mr. Nusantara 2025. Once a hopeful actor in the Philippines, Mhar is now back on stage—with a new kind of spotlight.
“I used to audition for showbiz roles. Now, I’m back on stage in a different light.”
When he found out he was chosen for Faces of Alluora 2025, Mhar was stunned.
“I was in disbelief—and incredibly grateful. It felt like validation for staying true to myself. With this title, I wish to normalise skincare for modern men and encourage others to care for themselves inside and out. As an engineer who’s constantly on the move and working in humid environments, I’m always sweating. That’s why I started using Alluora’s Dew and Glow Sunscreen even before the pageant, as a paying customer. It was the first product that worked with my oily skin—no greasiness, no breakouts. It gave me a natural glow and the confidence to show up as my best self, whether I’m on-site or on stage.”
Mhar’s skincare routine is simple, consistent, and powered by Alluora.
“The Dew & Glow Sunscreen—it gives me an instant glow and sets the tone for the day. Even when I’ve had little sleep, I still look photo-ready.”

“I joined to reignite a dream I once gave up on. After years of setting passion aside for practicality, Mr. Nusantara gave me the platform to prove that it’s never too late to chase what matters.”
The journey to Mr. Nusantara 2025 wasn’t always smooth. At times, Mhar struggled with doubt.
“My lowest point was battling self-doubt—questioning if I belonged, especially as a married father in a sea of younger contestants. What got me through was my family’s support and reminding myself of why I started: to inspire others to break barriers and own their truth.”
Ultimately, the experience strengthened him.
“It grew my confidence and taught me to embrace who I am. I learned to show up, lead with purpose, and be real.”
“Never skip your nighttime routine. Cleansing and moisturising before bed helps me reset and recharge—physically and mentally.”
